Clear Quartz crystal partially enclosing what was once a green Tourmaline crystal. The Tourmaline within the Quartz remains complete, however where it exits the Quartz (on top and along the backside), it has altered to a rectangular stack of Lepidolite crystals. Really neat and interesting specimen.

Terminated single gem crystal of Chrome Tourmaline which is a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite. Complete all around with deep emerald green coloration.Note that some from this find such as this one have an unusual indented crystal form at the very tip. The three outer triangular faces of the termination are flat, while the center triangle goes inward. Complete and undamaged.

Fantastic single Chrome Tourmaline from Tanzania. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich variety of the species Dravite. This crystal has 3 distinct color zones - a bright, vivid green at the termination, a darker green at the center, and a yellow green at the base. This is one of about 5 similar crystals I purchased years ago and I've never seen another similar since then. Weighs 35 grams.

Classic large sized, complete and terminated 'watermelon' Tourmaline with a blue/green over red coloration. Slight chipping along termination edge, otherwise undamaged. Termination has a mirror bright luster, and but for the visible growth features you would swear it was polished. Weighs 21.7 grams.
