Two deep blue Benitoite crystals on white Natrolite over a schist matrix. Stunning example with a large 2.8cm crystal and a smaller 1cm crystal in front. Undamaged and hard to find specimen.

Thick, lustrous black Neptunite crystals on a flat matrix of Natrolite over schist. This is an old Steve Perry specimen that I purchased from Steve about 20 years ago and have kept in my collection ever since. All the crystals are terminated and undamaged, the main crystal is 2.5cm long. There are small brown Joaquinite crystals on the Natrolite.

An unusually stout, lustrous Neptunite specimen. A large, partially double-terminated crystal with glossy surface luster sits atop a smaller partial crystal. It's rare to find them like this.

Classic combination of Benitoite with black Neptunite featuring 2 large Benitoite crystals and a number of smaller crystals. The front crystal is 2.2cm while the one just behind it is also large at 2cm. Importantly, the crystals are sharply formed with good blue color and transparency at the tips. Undamaged.

Large, deep blue crystals of Benitoite on matrix. With crystals to 2.2cm, this is a visually impactful miniature sized Benitoite specimen. The crystals have strong blue color, lustrous faces, and are thick. The top of the large crystal has significant gem value (have you checked the price of Benitoite gemstones lately?).

Single blue Benitoite crystal without matrix. The front shows primarily perfect flat crystal faces with the lower right and most of the back side showing natural etching. As a bonus there is a Neptunite and Joaquinite crystal attached to the back lower left corner. Nice and gemmy at the top, undamaged, and good sized.

Black Neptunite crystals on white Natrolite over schist matrix. The Neptunite are all well terminated quality crystals and well separated on matrix. Because of the Benitoite found at this locality, people often overlook the fact that the Neptunite found here is also the world's best for species. Ex. Len Pisciotta collection. Len has bought and sold a large number of specimens from this mine. The fact that he kept this one in his collection speaks to it's quality.
