A184 - Tourmaline on Morganite $ 450 (=~ CAN$ 609) SOLD Paprok, Nuristan, Afghanistan small cabinet - 6 x 3 x 3 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A unusual feature of pegmatites is the occasional occurrence of "bent" crystals, believed to be caused by repeated fracturing and rehealing within the pegmatite. This specimen features a "bent" Tourmaline draped over the shoulder on a gem Morganite crystal. The Tourmaline grades from dark green to pink at the termination. The Morganite is crystallized on all sides, truely unique.

The purple Fluorite is 1.1 cm across and apears to be a modified octahedral crystal (there are a few small octahedons on other areas of the specimen). The Fluorite forms almost a perfect, complete sphere shape. I am told this formation is known as "Ox eye" Fluorite, though I have never seen anything like it before.
A175 - Pollucite $ 400 (=~ CAN$ 542) SOLD Shengus Mine, Skardu Dist., Pakistan small cabinet - 9 x 3 x 2 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pollucite is normally seen as roundish white crystals that resemble baseballs - this is the only prismatic crystal I've ever seen. It's a floater with good smooth faces on all sides. There are small brown spheres of an unidentified mineral on one side. Neat and unusual.
