R219 - Beryl (3 crystals) $ 750 SOLD various thumbnail - 1.5 x 1 x 0.5 cm
Trio of gem Beryl specimens from the Jon Sigerman collection. Jon is a collector who specializes in gem crystals and has an excellent eye for color. The suite includes a 1cm Emerald from Jos, Nigeria with saturated green color and a steep termination. A 1.5cm etched orange Beryl from Karoi, Zimbabwe fully etched all around with bright glassy faces all over and uncommon color. Finally, a single Red Beryl crystal 7mm tall, complete all around with gem rough value. All crystals are complete and undamaged. Ex. Jon Sigerman collection.

R227 - Tarnowitzite $ 1800 SOLD Touissit, Oujda, Morocco large cabinet - 17 x 12 x 7 cm
Large specimen loaded with lustrous, snow-white crystals of Tarnowizite. More commonly seen from Tsumeb, Tarnowitzite are also found at Touissit and can get very good. Nearly pristine, the entire front is covered with crystals, with only a couple missing. There is also a vug on the side with additiional crystals. Comes with an old John Mitchell label showing a date of 2004.

R231 - Apatite $ 500 Cerro Mercado, Durango, Mexico miniature - 5 x 4 x 4 cm
Two transparent yellow Apatite crystals set in a matrix of translucent Chalcedony and magnetite. The main crystal is 2.5cm tall, well terminated, and fully transparent gem quality. Although loose single crystals are commonplace, and even matrix pieces are relatively abundant, truely special pieces like this are not.
R232 - Wulfenite on Mottramite $ 2000 SOLD Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico cabinet - 11 x 6.0 x 2.5 cm
Thick, orange Wulfenite crystals on satiny dark green Mottramite. The contrast of colors and textures make for a beautiful and uncommon specimen. The Wulfenite crystals are well isolated and well distributed, and reach 1.4cm in size. From a 2013 find at the Ojuela Mine.
R233 - Calcite on Conichalcite $ 950 SOLD Mina Ojuela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico small cabinet - 8.5 x 8 x 3 cm
Scalenohedral white Calcite crystals on green Conichalcite. This is the largest, finest specimens of this type from the Ojuela that I ever recall seening. In most similar specimens, the Calcite occur as small drusy rhombs - this one has larger sized Calcite crystals to 1.5cm. The Calcite are in excellent condition with just a couple missing crystals on the very edge, the vast majority are perfect. A great addition to a Ojuela Mine suite. Ex.
