P564 - Azurite with Malachite $ 3500 Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico cabinet - 12 x 7 x 5.5 cm
Deep blue Azurite crystals to over 3cm in size on a matrix that is dusted by a thin layer of green Chrysocolla and Malachite. There is a wide range of crystal sizes that are well distributed across the matrix. Highly aesthetic Azurite specimen in excellent condition - all the crystals are good!

Tall clusters of orange, arsenian Pyromorphite crystals on matrix. The crystals have great color with 'wet' luster. Obtained via trade, the previous collector paid $1,850 for this back in 2017. Ex. Rosey collection.
P566 - Rhodochrosite stalactite $ 300 SOLD Capillitas Mine, Catamarca Prov., Argentina small cabinet - 5.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm
Single Rhodochrosite stalactite from the Capillitas Mine. The top end has been cut and polished to reveal the internal concentric rings of varying shades of pink and red. The outer surfaces are crystallized. This one has an excellent, translucent deep red center.
P567 - Axinite, Epidote on Albite $ 300 SOLD Thompson Peak, Plumas County, California, USA small cabinet - 8.3 x 7.5 x 4 cm
Matrix of blocky white, porcelain-like Albite crystals hosting purple Axinite crystals and sprays of green Epidote. The Axinite crystals reach 2cm in size and have sharp edges and areas of transparency. This is classic old Californian material collected decades ago by Chuck Trantham.
LL665 - Clinoclase with Cornubite $ 150 Majuba Hill Mine, Pershing Co., Nevada, USA miniature - 5 x 4 x 2.5 cm
Dark blue crystals of Clinoclase and green Cornubite lining vugs in matrix. Colorful specimen with good crystals in multiple areas/sides of specimen. A classic and now defunct locality.
P568 - Lawsonite $ 150 SOLD Reed Station, Tiburon, Marin Co., California, USA small cabinet - 6.5 x 4 x 3 cm
Blue to white crystals of rare Lawsonite in a Glaucophane schist matrix. Crystals reach 1.8cm in size. Old specimen from the Type locality for the species, collected by Chuck Trantham back in 1968. Rare stuff! Ex. Chuck Trantham.
P569 - Sanidine $ 750 SOLD Itrongay, Betroka, Anosy Region, Madagascar miniature - 3.6 x 1.5 x 1.0 cm
Rare old time GEM Sanidine crystal. Feldspar is a mineral not ususally known for fine collector gem crystals, but at this locality in Madagascar, amazing water clear crystals are sometimes found. This is a doubly-terminated crystal in excellent condition, crystallized all around with exceptionally sharp form for the locality. The crystal has a strong yellow coloration and is internally transparent. The faces alternate from smooth and glassy on the narrow sides to a dimpled surface texture on the larger faces. Both ends have good terminations. This is one held in my personal collection for at least 25 years.
P570 - Dioptase on Calcite $ 2500 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4.4 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm
Sharp, lustrous emerald green Dioptase crystals on white Calcite. This is an old piece from the Rock Currier and Carl Acosta collections that I have held onto for 20+ years. Fine quality, undamaged crystals to 1.1cm in size.
P571 - Scheelite on Fluorite $ 2500 Yaogangxian Mine, Hunan, China small cabinet - 5.5 x 4 x 2 cm
Translucent, tan colored Scheelite crystals to 1.7cm on a bed of purple Fluorite cubes. Despite producing thousands of Fluorite specimens, this combo of Scheelite atop Fluorite crystals is very rare. I have held this piece in my collection for 20+ years and have not seen another like it. Undamaged crystals.
P572 - Veszelyite on Hemimorphite $ 750 Palabanda quarries, Mfouati, Bouenza Department, Republic of the Congo miniature - 4 x 3 x 1 cm
Deep blue crystals of Veszelyite on sky blue Hemimorphite. The Veszelyite crystals reach 5mm in size and are well separated. Mined in 2022. The locality is a former Limestone quarry with Lead, Zinc, and Copper mineralization that closed in 2018.

Single crystal of Alabandite from the Merelani Taznanite mines. This is one I held for years in my personal Merelani collection due to the unusual growth features seen on the crystal faces.

Single crystal of golden-colored Sericite with the appearance of layers of gold foil compressed together and folded. Ex. J.S. Sobolewski collection.
P576 - Quartz var. Fire Agate $ 400 Deer Creek Fire Agate Mine, Graham County, Arizona, USA miniature - 4.5 x 2.5 x 1.5 cm
Tumble-polished Chalcedony nodule known as Fire Agate for the bright irridecent botryoidal formations. This is a specimen I bought about 40 years ago. At the time I bought it, it was considered the highest grade available (what was called a 'Peacock' grade) due to the green colors evident along the edges.
