FM625 - Tourmaline $ 2000 SOLD Pederniera Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 5.2 x 1.3 x 1.2 cm
Single blue and purple Tourmaline crystal from the Pederniera Mine. This crystal is from what I am told was called the 'blurple' pocket for the distincetive blue and purple coloration of the crystals. The crystal is zoned in approximate thirds, with a lower purple zone, a central blue zone, and back to a purple coloration at the termination. The crystal is gemmy, complete, and undamaged and weighs 16.79 grams.

Two vivid orange Spessartine crystals attached to a partial Smokey Quartz crystal. This is a beautiful old specimen form the Luis Menezes collection. The color of the Spessartine is just fantastic, rivaling Nigerian Spessartine. The largest crystal is 1.3cm wide.

FM634 - Tourmaline $ 3900 SOLD Rubaya, North Kivu, Dem. Rep. of Congo small cabinet - 6 x 1 x 1 cm
Complete single gem quality Tourmaline crystal from the DR Congo. Transparent for it's entire length, the crystal has shades of yellow and orange with a more greenish color at the termination. Complete all around and undamaged with uniform shape and steep pyramidal termination. Even more glassy and transparent in person as the camera picks up more tiny distractions than are apparent to the human eye. Weighs 13 grams. These are among the world's best Tourmalines and mining at this locality has reportedly ended.

Translucent purple Vivianite crystals on matrix. The crystals rise straight up off the matrix and have excellent rich purple color when backlit. Rare USA classic from the Jack Nieburger collection. These are hard to get in such quality!
