FM530 - Wulfenite with Mimetite $ 1200 Rowley Mine, Maricopa Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 8.5 x 5 x 3.5 cm
Transparent Wulfenite crystals and the best red colored Mimetite combine to form a fantastic, classic Rowley specimen. There are some broken blades but many perfect ones too. This specimen is available for pickup at the Tucson show or by hand delivery only.
FM538 - Gold on Quartz $ 10000 SOLD Mother Lode, Mariposa Co., California, USA cabinet - 10.5 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm
Large mass of solid Gold rising up out of a white Quartz matrix. Gold also runs all through the Quartz at the base. A large and classic old California Gold originally purchased from Kristalle decades ago. It weighs approximately 11.8 ounces on my postal scale. I ran a specific gravity test on it and calculated there is approximately 5.56 Troy ounces of Gold in the specimen. At $2000/ounce, this equates to approximately $11,000 in Gold value alone in the specimen. It's an old piece that could also be improved with cleaning in a modern specimen lab. Ex. Randy Parnagian collection. Comes with a custom Lucite base.
FM535 - Hemimorphite $ 500 SOLD M'fouati, Bouenza Dept., Rep. of Congo cabinet - 12 x 10 x 7 cm
Spectacular large, curved crystals of baby blue Hemimorphite from recent finds in the Republic of Congo. Comes with a custom Lucite base. Ex. Randy Parnagian collection.
FM397 - Fluorite on Lollingite $ 950 Huanggang Mine, Inner Mongolia, China cabinet - 9.5 x 9.5 x 8 cm
Silvery metallic crystals of Lollingite with attached octahedral Fluorite and green Quartz crystals. The Fluorite crystals are colorless and reach 6cm in size. The largest Fluorite has edge damage on one corner that is not too distracting and could be restored (the price reflects this - I've seen similar pieces priced at $5000). These are considered the world's best Lollingite crystals.
FM396 - Atacamite $ 900 La Farola Mine, Copiapo, Chile large cabinet - 22 x 14 x 7 cm
Beautiful and large specimen of Atacamite and associated minerals from old finds in Chile. This specimen features large rosette formations of deep green Atacamite crystals to 3cm in diameter. Other minerals include light green Libethenite and white Halloysite. These were once fairly common, but even when they were, they were almost always smaller and lesser quality. The biggest, best one I've ever had. ©2010-2018 Marin Mineral |
