Terminated 'hot' pink Tourmaline crystal with a small side crystal attached.  Complete and undamaged and highly transparent.

Two gemmy Tourmaline crystals on a Quartz crystal. This is one I've had for about 40 years, purchased from Fraziers rock shop in Berkeley back in the 70s.

Gem quality pink Tourmaline crystal with attached books of purple Lepidolite. Clean, transparent, and undamaged. Tourmaline is 3.6 x 1.8cm. Weighs 26.47 grams.

Large, blocky Carlsbad-twinned Microcline crystal with attached purple Lepidolite and white blades of Albite. These are classics from the Himalaya Mine and like most, shows light etching on the sides. Large and complete all around with no damage.

A mound of white Albite crystals hosting a 3cm elongated Morganite crystal, a thick 3.5cm Schorl, and an 8mm Spessartine. The Spessartine grew between two crystals and has a couple flat sides, but it is gemmy with that famous citrus orange color. The Morganite has been reattached to the matrix. A classic combination specimen for this mine. Ex. Bob Reynolds collection.

Purple Lepidolite and white Albite atop a lighlty etched Orthoclase crystal. These Orthoclase with Lepidolite are instantly recognizable classics from the mine and a nice addition to round out a Himalaya Mine suite.

Branching, multi-colored Tourmaline specimen from the gem pegmatites of southern California. Gemmy green crystals with rose-colored terminations(more red than typical pink). This is unusual in that most Himalaya Mine Tourmaline are single crystals and this branching specimen, with an attached doubly-terminated Quartz, is particularly aesthetic. The large Tourmaline is also doubly-terminated. Ex. Tim Sherburn collection. Tim's label notes that it was self-collected by Tim in 1989 during a collecting trip with Peter Lyckberg. It has an indentation from another crystal on the side, and has one repair. This was one of Tim's most prized specimens in his collection and was shown on the first page of Tim's section in the California collector edition of the Mineralogical Record.

Glassy, transparent single smokey Quartz crystal from the Pack Rat Mine. A complete crystal with some Albite grown into the backside and some like colored inclusions that appear to be mica.  Ex. Cal Graeber Quartz collection number Q-347.

Well terminated, gemmy blue 'Indicolite' Tourmaline from the Himalaya.  Complete all around and undamaged with good transparency.

A 1cm green Tourmaline on lightly etched, tan Feldspar, typical for the Himalaya Mine. The Tourmaline crystal is 1cm long and well terminated.

A 5.5cm pink Tourmaline crystal in purple Lepidolite from the Stewart Mine. The Tourmaline has light etching along the side and an irregular termination (it appears undamaged as there are no glassy fracture faces).
