Sharp 1.2cm Beryl or Apatite crystal that was psuedomorphed to Turquoise. This is an excellent example for the locality as most are not as sharp or are partial crystals (these are brittle on most are destroyed in the removal process), in fact this is the most aesthetic thumbnail I've seen. The crystal was reattached to the matrix by the previous collector. The following is quoted from Mindat: 'Host rock is Teutonia quartz monazite (Beckerman, 1982). Late turquoise replacement of miarolitic cavities resulted in turquoise pseudomorphs after the following minerals: quartz, muscovite, beryl, microcline, apatite as well unconfirmed orthorhombic pseudomorphs labeled as after barite. Chesterman at the Ca. Div. of Mines and Geology confirmed turquoise pseudomorphs after beryl based on morphology, trace beryl remnants and in situ beryl nearby. (Nazelrod, pers. comm.)'.

Bright silvery metallic crystals of Arsenopyrite, tabular tan Siderite, and green Chlorite over unidentified crystals all combine to form one heck of a pretty specimen. This is one of those pieces where the closer you look, the more you like it. Ex. Angela Cannon collection.

Stunning specimen of Galena on Quartz crystals with small green blebs of Chlorite mixed among the Quartz. The Galena is really fantastic, with the appearance of polished chrome - it's just amazingly bright and lustrous. The main crystal is 4cm in size and fronted by a large Quartz crystal. The main Galena crystal consists of an earlier generation of Galena that was coated by Chlorite and followed by later generations of Galena, forming an interesting, complex shape.

Large cluster of nothing but interconnected, gemmy Grossular garnet crystals. The crystals are an amber/yellow color and transluscent to transparent. Average crystal size is about 5mm to 1cm with the best crystal at 1.5cm. A good sized cluster for the find. Partial cube of Platinum with a smaller attached crystal. Platinum crystals are much more rare than the nuggets and most are much more rounded than this one, in fact it was the sharpest, most well formed by far of a small lot of crystals I examined. It has stepped faces all around, well crystallized and undamaged. I understand these are no longer being found. Weighs 1.57 grams.
