AU427 - Copper (cubic crystals!) $ 2000 (=~ £ 1599) SOLD Keweenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA miniature - 5 x 4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well crystallized Copper specimen from Michigan with cubic crystals. This is a floater of nothing but great crystals without any contacts. Individual crystals reach 8mm in size. This one is just so good in all directions, it's hard to chose a display angle. AU428 - Tourmaline $ 2000 (=~ £ 1599) SOLD Barra de Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 6.3 x 1.1 x 1.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Brightly colored watermelon Tourmaline with a flat, glassy termination. In addition to the strong red and green colors, there is a small yellow zone between the red and green. It's perfect and undamaged, and technically a floater as the bottom has rehealed. Weighs 13.64 grams.
AU430 - Liddicoatite $ 900 (=~ £ 720) SOLD Sahatany Valley, Antananarivo Prov., Madagascar thumbnail - 2.2 x 2.2 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Single Liddicoatite crystal with an incredible, intensely saturated red coloration. There is chatter/damage along the short edge but it's in overall good condition with nice flat termination faces. This specimen is all about the strong color, which to my eyes varies from a cranberry red to a raspberry red. Weighs 8 grams.
AU431 - Zoisite $ 400 (=~ £ 320) Alchuri, Shigar Valley, Pakistan thumbnail - 2.5 x 0.9 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() Rare green Zoisite crystal which are only sporadically found here at Alchuri. Sometimes called 'green Tanzanite', Alchuri is one of the only places in the world besides Tanzania to produce gemmy crystals of Zoisite. This is a beautiful undamaged cluster of multiple crystals.

The Ruby cluster is well crystallized all around and undamaged. A rare Ruby specimen from a locality better known for Spinel.
AU433 - Dolomite $ 500 (=~ £ 400) SOLD Magnesite Mine, Sunk, Trieben, Styria, Austria small cabinet - 7 x 5.5 x 3.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of large, glassy Magnesite crystals from Austria. While not colorful, this is the kind of specimen, similar to Pyrite from Navajun, that just amazes due to the perfection of crystal form. The main crystal is 5cm in size. The crystals are perfect, complete all around, with high glassy luster and good transparency.
AU434 - Tsavorite $ 1800 (=~ £ 1439) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.2 x 1 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy single Tsavorite crystal with excellent transparency. Well crystallized all around and nearly perfect with just a narrow chip down one edge. It grew upon Graphite crystals, so while the bottom is mostly contacted, there are also small well crystallized faces on the bottom too. Top percentile for quality in terms of color, transparency, and glassy luster.
AU435 - Tsavorite $ 1200 (=~ £ 959) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 3.3 x 0.8 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() An extremely elongated Tsavorite crystal cluster with attached Pyrite crystals. Fully crystallized all around and undamaged, with just a tiny point of contact on the bottom. This style of Tsavorite is an unusual, wonderful surprise from the Merelani mines made years ago. This is one of the best of this style I've seen.

Complete all around and undamaged. This is a spectacular thumbnail of this combination.

The Scorodite crystals are well isolated and reach 9mm in size. The upper Scorodite is sharp and lustrous, perfect in form. The lower crystal is also excellent, but with some minor chipping. This could be trimmed down into a fine thumbnail.
LP122 - Amblygonite $ 200 (=~ £ 160) SOLD Linopolis, Divino das Laranjeiras, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 2 x 2 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Single thumbnail-sized crystal of translucent to transparent yellow Amblygonite. Amblygonite is a rare lithium-aluminum phosphate species that is not commonly seen in fine display quality crystals. This crystal shows twinning and is complete all around with glassy luster. Translucent with transparent gem areas and undamaged.
