Single silvery metallic crystal of Wittichenite from the Cattle Grid Pit of the Mt. Gunson mine. Wittichenite is a very rare Copper and Bismuth sulfide mineral. This specimen is from a limited find in early 1980s that produce what are considered the finest known examples of the species. See the March-April 2013 issue of the Mineralogical Record for an article on this find.

Bladed yellow crystals of Stolzite over matrix. Good coverage of crystals with individual crystals to 8mm in size. There is damage to the crystals, still a good representative piece of a hard to find specimen.

Acicular crystals of purple/red Erythrite cover the matrix from the classic Australia locality for the species. Colorful with great coverage of crystals present on both sides of specimen.

Glossy deep red Spessartine crystals in crystallized Galena. The Spessartine crystals reach 1.5cm in size and there are 7 larger crystals and a number of smaller crystals exposed. Recently released from an old Australian collection.

Well formed red Rhodonite crystals in a matrix of crystallized Galena. The main Rhodonite crystal is 1.5cm tall and displays perfectly.

Olive green crystals of Chlorargyrite over most of the front face. The entire specimen appears to by nearly all solid Chlorargyrite. Chlorargyrite is a rare silver species that's at it's best from Broken Hill.

Box work formation of Chenevixite typical for this obscure locality. The lime green color is evident in areas without the Limonite staining. Chenevixite is an uncommon copper asenate mineral and except for the Limonite surface coatings, this appears to be composed of nearly solid Chenvixite. There are also small crystals of what I believe are Olivenite present in the vuggy areas between the boxwork.

Bright green lead rich Feldspar specimen from Broken Hill. This material was found at Broken Hill during the 1920's to 1940's.

Bright green crystals of Atacamite well protected in an open vug. Moe commonly seen as thick nodular masses, these free standing crystals are very appealing. Old hard to find material.

Blocky golden yellow crystals of Stolzite over matrix. The crystals are ranslucent to transparent with individual crystals to 1cm in size. There is some edge damage to the crystals as shown, still an attractive and hard to find specimenspecimen.

Reticulated Cerussite specimen from Broken Hill. Good sized example that's nearly solid Cerussite. Older specimen likely mined prior to 1920.

Translucent, doubly-terminated Barite crystal on matrix. The main crystal is 4.2cm long. Specimens from this locality are seldomly available.

Dark red acicular crystal clusters on matrix. There are several radial clusters embedded in the matrix. Better known from South Africa, here's a nice Australian example.
