LP842 - Galena (skeletal) $ 1200 9th of September Mine, Madan, Bulgaria cabinet - 10 x 6 x 5.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of hoppered (skeletal) Galena crystals from the 9th of September Mine in Bulgaria. These are true skeletal Galena (not the man-made variety that were circulating years ago!) and occur with Sphalerite and Pyrite crystals. Undamaged and well crystallized all around, essentially a floater.
LP843 - Heliodor $ 3200 Sapucaia do Norte, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 7.5 x 1.8 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Etched crystal of greenish yellow Beryl var. Heliodor. Fully transparent with surface striations and is doubly-terminated with more pointed terminations at one end and flatter terminations at the other. Complete and undamaged. Weighs 27.35 grams.
LP844 - Anglesite $ 3500 Touissit, Morocco small cabinet - 6 x 6 x 5.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Exquisite yellow Anglesite crystals on Galena from Touissit, the source of the world's finest Anglesite. The best Anglesite were found decades ago from this now closed mine and top quality crystals are hard to find. This specimen has Anglesite crystals to 2cm tall that have excellent transparency, fine lemon yellow color, aesthetic arrangement on the matrix, and are undamaged.
LP845 - Smithsonite $ 950 SOLD Yanga Koubenza, M'Fouati Dist., Bouenza Dept., Rep. of Congo miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Satiny translucent blue Smithsonite from recent finds in the Rep. of Congo. Smithsonite from this locality has trickled out recently, but mostly in more greenish hues. This one has spectacular, intense turquoise blue coloration, the finest I've yet seen from this find.

Hard to find thumbnail from the Type locality for the species.

LP853 - Moldavite $ 350 SOLD Besednice, Czech Republic miniature - 3.8 x 2.5 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent green Moldavite from the small village of Besednice in southern Czech Republic. It has a slightly arrowhead shape with deep surface grooves. It's complete all around and in perfect condition without any chips or damage. Moldavite is not an item I typically sell, but as a mineral dealer you sometimes acquire different things in deals. I showed this to a dealer who regularly sells Moldavite, and he rated this as $80/gram quality. This specimen weighs 5.69 grams and is offered here to move at about $60/gram.
LP854 - Azurite $ 1200 SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4.5 x 2 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Tall single Azurite crystal from Tsumeb. There is some minor edge chipping otherwise it's complete and perfect all around with sharp edges and an angled termination. This is also the highly translucent/transparent type and good blue color can be seen throughout the entire crystal when backlit (backlit in both the top and bottom areas to show the transparency throughout).
LP855 - Calcite, Dioptase on Malachite $ 450 SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 5 x 3 x 2.5 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a fabulous Tsumeb piece composed of botryoidal, velvety Malachite partially coated by Dioptase crystals and tiny white Calcite crystals. It's a floater with no points of contact. My favorite part is a spherical knob of Malachite adorned with a crown of Dioptase crystals.
