Amblygonite is a rare lithium-aluminum phosphate species that is not commonly seen in fine display quality crystals. This is a well crystallized specimen with big glassy faces on both sides and contacting along the bottome and one side edge. Translucent with transparent gem areas. Excellent thumbnail for the species!

Bright, translucent, and deep emerald green with areas of transparency. In excellent condition with smooth lustrous crystals faces. It has a smooth indentation on part of the backside where it was attached to what was a Chrysocolla matrix.

This is an undamaged floater with no points of attachment. There is a single Galena crystal on the front and the backside shows areas of matrix covered with small Fluorite crystals and tiny black Sphalerite crystals. Ex.
