Cluster of gemmy Tanzanite crystals from the Merelani Hills in Tanzania. The main crystal is 1.7cm tall and highly transparent with a blue and light yellowish color. There is a bit of attached Graphite on the bottom and multiple other smaller crystals.

Stunning gemmy Tanzanite crystal on Calcite crystals from the Merelani Hills in Tanzania. The Tanzanite 1.9cm tall and highly transparent with a blue/purple color. The Tanzanite grows out of white Calcite crystals and stands alone in front of a jumbled mass of smaller Tanzanite crystals.

Gemmy purple/blue Tanzanite crystal with attached Prehnite from the Merelani Hills in Tanzania. The Tanzanite has classic form and is complete all around. It's a natural, unheated crystal with and orange/red coloration when viewed up the C-axis (last photo shows this color, shot with my hand wrapped around the crystal and a light shining up from the bottom). The Prehnite is translucent lemon yellow and forms hemispherical clusters that total 2cm wide. It's rare to find such clean looking Prehnite on Tanzanite specimen. Weighs 28.75 grams.

Reticulated Cerussite and pink bladed Barite crystals on a matrix of Barite with Galena. The main Cerussite cluster is superb for the locality, white and highly lustrous and 2cm wide. There are many additional gemmy Cerussite crystals mixed in with the Barite on the fron side. Reticulated Cerussite is uncommon from Mibladen. The back side is covered by pink Barite crystals.

Single red Rhodochrosite rhomb on Quartz crystals. The Rhodo has gem quality areas and is 2cm wide on the diagonal.

Gem quality pink Kunzite crystal on matrix. Great ridged termination and highly transparent. Complete all around and undamaged.

Light yellowish white Smithsonite crystals on a sulfide matrix from Tsumeb. The crystals have excellent form and reach 1.6cm in size. The crystals are translucent with areas of transparency.

Bright yellow crystals of Smithsonite replacing Dolomite, with the curving form of the former Dolomite crystals clearly evident. Smaller individual Smithsonite crystals are scattered across the surface of the matrix. The bright color is caused by inclusions of Greenockite. Comes with an old Ernie Schlichter label. Beautiful specimen!

Quality old combination specimen of multiple species from the Leonard Mine in Butte, Montana. The Leonard Mine is a former Cu-Ag-W-Pb-Zn mine famous for it's Covellite. While the old label only lists the 4 species, a black crystal on the right side appears to be another species, possibly Chalcocite.
