MK193 - Azurite, Malachite $ 600 Salairsky Mine, Kamenushinkoe Copper Deposit, Guryevsky area, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia small cabinet - 8.5 x 3.5 x 0.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Cut and polished slab of banded Azurite over Malachite. Banded Azurite is much less common than Malachite and this is a primo piece with a high polish on both sides. The top surface is crystallized Azurite. Both sides shown in photos.

This is a floater well crystallized all around. There is some chipping present, but overall it's in good condition. Both sides shown in photos.
MK195 - Carrollite $ 230 SOLD Kamoya South Mine, Kambove, Katanga, DR Congo thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Superb single crystal of mirror lustrous Carrollite. The crystal is octahedral in form and complete all around with a point of contact on the base. It has natural indented surfaces on some faces. The indented areas are also well crystallized and it's complete all around.
MK196 - Aquamarine with Quartz $ 280 Shigar Valley, Skardu, Pakistan thumbnail - 3.1 x 2 x 1.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy single Aqua crystal 1.2cm wide with attached white Feldspar and two smokey Quartz crystals at the base. The Aqumarine is transparent with glass-like luster and is undamaged.
MK197 - Uvite with Dolomite $ 650 SOLD Brumado Mine, Bahia, Brazil miniature - 3.7 x 3.1 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Exceptionally large single 3.7cm Uvite crystal with smaller attached Uvites and white Dolomite crystals. Complete all around and in excellent condition. These are hard to find of this size and quality.

MK199 - Andorite with Zinkenite $ 450 San Jose Mine, Oururo, Bolivia miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 2.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of tabular Andorite crystals with an attached crystal spray of Zinkenite. Andorite is lead, silver, antimony sulfosalt with the best crystals coming from Bolivia.
MK200 - Colemanite $ 200 SOLD Extension 23, Baker Connection Fault, Boron Open Pit, Boron, Kern Co., California, USA cabinet - 11 x 7.5 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy, blocky Colemanite crystals lining a large vug. Colemanite from California is most commonly found as spikey, densely packed crystal groups and to have such jewel-like glassy crystals as these is uncommon. This was formerly in the Jim and Dawn Minette collection. Jim was the mine manager at Boron and had access to the very best minerals found there.
MK201 - Liddicoatite SOLD Betafo District, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar miniature - 3.9 x 2.3 x 2.1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick, transparent red Liddicoatite (Tourmaline) crystal from Madagascar with beautiful form and color. Complete all around and undamaged with a fantastic termination that ends in a triangular shape at the tip. A deep cranberry red coloration that is lighter at the top, but with backlighting it's transparent for nearly the entire length with a dark zone at the central base. Weighs 31.34 grams.
MK203 - Wurtzite $ 350 Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mountains, Arusha Region, Tanzania miniature - 4.3 x 2.3 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, wide translucent red/orange Wurtzite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite Mines. These were found several years ago and were instantly recognized as the world's best for species. Good sized with nice form and flashes of red.

Tsavorite $ 350 Merelani Hills, Lelatema Mountains, Arusha Region, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.5 x 0.9 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Single green Grossular crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. Highly lustrous faces and good transparency. Complete all around with a bit of Graphite and point of contact on the bottom. Perfect except for chipping and very lower edges.
MK205 - Lepidolite on Tourmaline $ 750 Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 7 x 2.8 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large transparent green Tourmaline crystal partially coated by lavender Lepidolite crystals. The Tourmaline has a steep pyramidal termination and is a deep transparent green, in fact the majority of the crystal is facet quality. Weighs 74.5 grams.

MK207 - Copper after Cuprite $ 500 SOLD Poteryaevskoe Mine, Rubtsovskoe Deposit, Western Siberia, Russia thumbnail - 2.4 x 1.9 x 1.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Intergrown octahedrons of Copper that have replaced earlier Cuprite crystals. Complete all around and undamaged. This is an exceptional specimen as most of these have a coarser appearance due to larger subcrystals of Copper.
