MK176 - Austinite $ 1250 Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico cabinet - 9.5 x 6.5 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick botryoidal masses of translucent yellow Austinite over a Limonite matrix. Usually found as thin crusts with crystalline surfaces or small 'gumdrop' formations, this specimen is both unusual and exceptional, easily the best I've ever owned.
MK177 - Calcite over Aurichalcite $ 250 SOLD Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 4.5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Vug in Limonite containing a single, glassy transparent Calcite crystal partially covering a spray of blue Aurichalcite crystals. The needle-like Aurichalcite can bee seen through the Calcite and the tips of the Aurichalcite extend out the top of the Calcite. There are also some small (1mm) unidentified octahedral crystals present in the vug.
MK179 - Amethyst $ 350 Las Vigas, Vera Cruz, Mexico cabinet - 10 x 9 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Three large, doubly-terminated Amethyst crystals. The crystals are glassy and gemmy with the largest crystal crossing across the top and 9.2cm wide. All the large crystals are complete all around and undamaged. There is a tiny crystal growing off the largest crystal that has an indentation from another crystal, but even this one is perfect with a thin, small undamaged termination.
MK180 - Olivenite $ 250 992 Level, Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico thumbnail - 1.4 x 0.7 x 0.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of well terminated Olivenite crystals from the Milpillas Mine. Like many other minerals found at this mine, these rank among the world's best for species. Slender flattened prisms with glossy luster. Complete all around and undamaged.
MK181 - Olivenite $ 500 SOLD 992 Level, Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico thumbnail - 2 x 0.7 x 0.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Single well terminated Olivenite crystal from the Milpillas Mine. Like many other minerals found at this mine, these rank among the world's best for species. A slender flattened single crystal with glossy luster. Complete all around nearly pristine with a small bit of Limonite near the base at one side and a small chip/indentation on the same side where likely another small piece of Limonite was attached. Good sized single crystal of high quality.
MK182 - Wulfenite $ 500 SOLD Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 5 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rectangular prismatic orange Wulfenite crystals on matrix with minor green Mimetite. The crystals are well separated, reach 1.8cm in size, and are in an aesthetic arrangement.
MK184 - Cerussite $ 350 SOLD Ojuela Mine, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico thumbnail - 2.3 x 1.5 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick, transparent colorless Cerussite crystal, shocking in size and quality for the locality. This is from a recent find and look more like something you would see from Tsumeb than any I've ever seen from the Ojuela Mine. The specimen is composed of a well terminated single crystal, complete all around and undamaged.
MK186 - Fluorite on Quartz $ 350 Lupita Mine, Rodeo, Durango, Mexico cabinet - 10 x 6 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Purple Fluorite crystals on a white Quartz matrix. The Fluorite are transparent to translucent octahedrons modified with numerous stepped cube faces.
MK187 - Brochantite $ 600 Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico thumbnail - 1.9 x 1 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stout single Brochantite crystal from the Milpillas Mine. The crystal is complete all around with just some minor edge chipping and pieces of attached matrix. A superb thumbnail for the species that was formerly in the personal collection of a Mexican mineral dealer.

Boleite is a rare lead-silver-copper halide mineral that is at it's best from this locality. This a good sized complete cube, with an indentation from another former cube on one face and two tiny attached crystals.

This a an exceptionally fine complete cube, with razor sharp edges, good luster, and no damage except for one very trivial edge indentation/nick, about as fine a quality as these get.
