Undamaged translucent crystals with great color. This was originally purchased by the previous owner for $2,000 and later acquired by me in trade. The Selenite shows 'fish tail' twinning and has another smaller included Selenite crystal.

This is an excellent example with both larger sized crystals and better than average deep peach coloration. It's also undamaged and aesthetic.

ST433 - Emerald $ 650 Salzburg, Austria miniature - 4.2 x 3 x 1.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() A 1.4cm Emerald in a dark schist matrix. The Emerald has great medium green color and lots of transparency.
ST438 - Milarite $ 300 Jaguaraçu pegmatite, Jaguaraçu, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 1 x 0.8 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Single well terminated Milarite crystal from old (1980s) finds in Brazil. Milarite is a rare silicate mineral with the best found in the Swiss Alps and this locality in Brazil. Well terminated, translucent single crystal with nicely beveled termination edges. A rare thumbnail.
ST435 - Herderite $ 280 Hi Hope Dig, near Anza, Riverside Co., California, USA thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Translucent 1.5cm white Herderite crystal on matrix. Collected by Al Ordway and Jon Page during the late 1990s. The Hi Hope was a short lived dig named after the ranch owned by noted southern California collector Josie Scripps who had recently passed away in 1992. A rare specimen for a southern California collection.
ST436 - Tourmaline $ 650 SOLD Paprok, Afghanistan miniature - 3.5 x 1 x 0.9 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy, transparent single Tourmaline with unusual coloration. It's pink at the base followed by a green zone then a colorless upper half and termination. Complete and undamaged with a steep pyramidal termination. Weighs 5.73 grams.
ST430 - Wurtzite $ 350 Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.3 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Translucent to transparent red/orange single Wurtzite crystal. These were discovered a few years ago at the Merelani Tanzanite mines and are considered the world's best for species.
ST432 - Calcite on Dioptase in Calcite $ 400 SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 6.5 x 4 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright green Dioptase crystals included within clear, rhombic Calcite crystals that were later covered by smaller, pearly white crystals of Calcite or Dolomite. There are even a few small Dioptase crystal on top the second generation of Calcite.
ST441 - Tourmaline $ 380 SOLD Hyakule, Sankhuwasabha District, Kosi Zone, Nepal miniature - 3.5 x 0.6 x 0.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rare gem pink Tourmaline crystal from Nepal. This is an excellent crystal for the locality, fully transparent with a greenish yellow zone near the termination. Though not as well known, Nepal has produced small amounts of some very high quality Tourmaline. Found long ago, this crystal is undamaged and weighs 2.36 grams.
