The Cuprian Smithsonite from the 79 Mine has some of the best green color from anywhere and this is a great wxample of that quality. Thick undamaged layers of satiny, translucent Smithsonite covering matrix. The color is a rich, deep green that grades to a more apple green on the far right side.

Partially double-terminated with some Calcite attached to the backside. Often called 'Chrome Tourmaline' these are a chromium and vanadium rich Dravite.

A complete, translucent crystal that displays well. These are now hard to find.
