Dark olive green botryoidal Kolwezite atop vivid pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) creating a stunning mixture of colors and forms. The Kolwezite hemisphere is 1.4cm wide. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful large display piece and combination specimen of two desireable species together. Complete Diamond crystal in the form of a distorted cube. The surface has a dimpled appearance, but it appears clear inside. Weighs 3.25 carats.

Single translucent yellow crystal on matrix. Undamaged though back edge is contacted where it grew against the pocket wall.

Mirror-lustrous octahedral Carrollite crystals to 1.7cm on matrix with white Calcite and Chalcopyrite visible. From older finds out of an old collection.

A pair of highly lustrous Carrollite crystals attached to the face of a Calcite rhomb. Largest crystal is 1.1cm.

Gem-like small Quartz crystals and dark green Kolwezite on bright purple/pink Cobaltian Calcite crystals.

Solid mass of Shattuckite and Malachite with a thin coating of Chrysocolla on the outside. The Shattuckite forms satiny, fibrous radial groups with Malachite filling the spaces in between.

Cuprite crystals to 1.9cm on a flat Chrysocolla covered matrix. These came out years ago and are among my favorite Cuprite specimens as the Chrysocolla really sets off the Cuprite crystals. Main crystal is sharp with just slight edge chipping in one area. There are also many more crystals present (can be seen along edges) that are completely covered by the Chrysocolla and could be exposed. Areas of fibrous Malachite crystals enhance the look.
