Large, complete single crystal. Well crystallized on both sides and shows good iridescence. This is old material from the collection of longtime African dealer Rob Smith. If you search Mindat photos for the locality, all you will find are millimeter sized crystals.

Dark olive green botryoidal Kolwezite atop vivid pink Cobaltoan Calcite one one side, and bright green Malachite on Cobaltian Calcite on the other side. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful,colorful display piece.

Mirror-lustrous Carrollite crystals within and protruding from white Calcite crystals. Main crystal is 1.5cm in size. Other Carrollites and Chalcopyrite crystals present. The Calcite is very transluscent.

The main Kolwezite is a superb hemispherical group 9mm wide. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful,colorful display piece.
