Deep yellow mounds of Mimetite partially covered by Calcite crystals from a lesser known Mexican Mine that produced these specimens decades ago (1950s). Some of the mounds show growth on top of more hexagonal, barrel-shaped crystals of the same color, distinctly Pyromorphite-like in form. There are also areas with black Plattnerite on the Mimetite.

Mounds of satiny pink Smithsonite from Choix. A beautiful uniform pink color with areas more purple near the top. Bi-color Smithsonite from this locality is uncommon. Undamaged with great sparkling luster.

Complete tetrahedron of Chambersite, a rare mineral found in salt formations in a small number of localities worldwide. Complete and undamaged with a medium purple color. This locality is on a narrow strip of land that extends out into the Gulf of Mexico to the southeast of New Orleans in an area that was severely damaged by Hurricane Katrina. This crystal was collected by Fred Pough in 1970. Ex. Chuck Trantham collection.

Large, translucent Caledonite crystals on matrix from the Reward Mine. Extensive coverage of crystals all over, with larger, flat lying crystals to 1cm towards the upper left. Caledonite is famous for it's vivid teal blue coloration, and this one really delivers the color.

Glassy white to purple Adamite crystals densely covering a small bit of matrix (it appears to be about 95% solid Adamite). Uncommon in color and form, with many flat lying, double-terminated crystals, the largest 2cm in size. Glassy, lustrous crystals, many transparent terminations. Pristine. Out of the thousands of Mapimi Adamites out there, this one is a rarity. Much better than photos.

Bright orange/red crystals of Red Cloud Wulfenite. The crystals are parallel grown, glassy with the great color that made this mine famous. There are transparent sections in the crystals.  Very trivial edge chipping on one side, essentially pristine.

Large, sharp octahedral Wardite crystals on matrix. The largest crystal is 1.7cm wide and pristine. This is an old Al Ordway specimen with label.

Highly sculptural specimen of red Vanadinite crystals grown on a stalactitic formation of black Goethite. Well crystallized all around and amazingly, all the Vanadinite crystals are perfect and complete. Many of the small Vanadinite crystals are TRANSPARENT, which is rare.

Seldomly seen specimen of pink Ephesite crystals on black Manganite from a 1980s find in South Africa. The crystals are a translucent red/pink and form tapering, hexagonal crystals to 6mm in size along a narrow Manganite matrix. Ephesite is a rare lithium sodium aluminum silicate mineral.

Terminated sky blue Topaz crystal from the famous St. Annes pegmatite. It's a transparent gem crystal, complete all around, with a 1cm crystal of transparent Quartz included just under one face. Slight chipping on one edge otherwise undamaged.
