Complete all around floater with relatively large crystals. A gorgeous, undamaged specimen, the best I've ever had from this locality.
LL228 - Sphalerite, Galena $ 280 SOLD Galena, Cherokee Co., Tri State District, Kansas, USA small cabinet - 9 x 7 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thin matrix covered on both sides by red Sphalerite and grey metallic cubes of Galena. This is an aesthetic, undamaged specimen out of Chuck Trantham's personal collection (#58, with label). Front side has slightly more Sphalerite than Galena, backside has mostly Galena cubes. Like Elmwood Fluorite, these are old USA classics once plentiful but now getting harder to find. This is a nice one!

This is a gem of a thumbnail specimen, a complete floater perfect all around with the exception of a couple indentations from where other crystals grew. Undamaged.

The large Tourmaline is terminated on one end and the smaller Tourmaline are double-terminated. The Feldspar is really nice and fully crystallized all around. Neat southern California pegmatite specimen.

Out of the Chuck Trantham collection but without any locality available. A splendid little Garnet, it's complete all around and undamaged with a contact on the bottom where it grew against other crystals.
