Fresh and clean, this vug has only been open for a matter of weeks. I particularly like the sprays of Aurichalcite that have been coated by Rosasite.

This came out of an old collection without a label, but have "Butte Co." writtn on the back. It's possibly from the Surcease gold mine. Neat and unusual piece for a California collector.

From new finds in the mountains near Milas, these new Diaspore crystals are spectacular in color and form. Glassy, flat termination faces on both 'arms', complete and undamaged. Gem quality and transparent inside. Medium purple color in natural sunlight.

The crystal is 2.7cm wide and a mixture of cube and octahedral faces. A couple very minor chips otherwise complete and perfect all around.

The crystal has a broad, smooth front face with bevelled edges and a more etched and stepped growth on the backside.
