M355 - Tanzanite $ 950 (=~ € 868) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania miniature - 4.1 x 1 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rare double-terminated Tanzanite crystal from the Merelani Tanzanite mines. Has a more grey/blue central zone and more intense purple blue coloration at the tips. There is chipping along one edge, otherwise undamaged. Double-terminated crystals are not common. This was part of of large lot purchase and is priced nicely.

The main crystal is a chunky 1cm crystal with good transparency and rises well up off the matrix. There are also Diopside crystals present mixed among the Tsavorites.
