K967 - Dioptase $ 3500 (=~ AUS$ 5337) SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia small cabinet - 5.2 x 3.8 x 8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, gemmy Dioptase crystals on matrix. Crystals reach 1.5cm long. I ofund one micro chip on one edge, otherwise entirely undamaged. I bought this piece from Clive Queit about 20 years ago in Tucson. Beautiful large crystals.

K951 - Barite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) SOLD Plaka Mines, Laurion, East Attica, Greece cabinet - 9.5 x 7 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of Barite crystals with crystals on both sides. Red Barite is not common worldwide and Laurion is known for some of the best. The historic mines of Laurion have produced a number of fine collectable minerals, and the red Barites are some of the most sought after. A goods sized high quality specimen.
K964 - Cassiterite, Fluorite, Apatite, Quartz $ 1800 (=~ AUS$ 2745) SOLD Piaotang Mine, Dayu Co., Jiangxi, China cabinet - 15 x 8.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Old Chinese Fluorite specimen from about 20-30 years ago. The association with Cassiterite and purple Apatite make this special and different than most Chinese Fluorite specimens available. The Fluorite forms somewhat globular crystals to 2.5cm in size and are transparent. The Cassiterite reach 1.5cm and are highly lustrous. Both species are well distributed on the matrix and are undamaged. On the lower right side there are 4 purple Apatite crystals to 8mm in size.
K889 - Spessartine $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1449) SOLD Nani, Loliondo, Tanzania miniature - 3.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, gemmy complete single Spessartine crystal from the original find near Loliondo. The vast majority were partial crystals or crystals so included they looked almost black. This one has a minimal amount of black inclusions and an overall bright citrus orange color. A side from a few small edge chips, it is totally undamaged with equant form. Weighs 60.87 grams.
K941 - Brucite $ 300 (=~ AUS$ 457) Killa Saifullah, Balochistan, Pakistan cabinet - 10 x 5.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, thick somewhat pinwheel formation of translucent yellow Brucite on a bit of matrix from recent finds in Pakistan. Undamaged and good from both sides, this is a very thick formation. The Brucite is well crystallized all around, characteristic of open pocket growth and not growth in tight, contacted seams as are most. An excellent example that is just plain more massive than most.
