Green scalenohedral Calcite crystals on petrified wood. From a new find.

Thick, glassy crystals of Cerussite from Bunker Hill. This came out of an old collection and was likely found many decades ago. The thick transparent crystals are more reminiscent of material from Tsumeb than Cerussites you would expect from the USA.

Cluster of deep blue Sapphire crystals, translucent along edges. Main crystal is tabular and 2.1cm wide.

Silica rich matrix hosting a 1.4cm fossil gastropod that has been replaced by translucent orange Chalcedony. Perfectly preserved and undamaged. This was found in the Morrison formation and is approximately 155 million years old. Collected by Bill Hawes.
