MM114 - Copper in Gypsum $ 350 (=~ £ 280) SOLD Mission Mine, Pima Co, Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6.5 x 4 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent Gypsum var. Selenite heavily with included with Copper. This is an excellent example with evenly distributed Copper throughout the entire specimen. Transparent window of Selenite rising up off a small amount of matrix. Most are simple cleavages without the display presence of this one.
MM115 - Malachite in Calcite $ 1500 (=~ £ 1199) SOLD Bisbee, Cochise Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Calcite cluster colored green by inclusions of Malachite. The front face and crystals are undamaged though there is an incomplete crystal in the back. These are rare classics from Bisbee.
MM117 - Smithsonite after Dolomite $ 800 (=~ £ 640) SOLD Rush Creek Mining District, Marion Co., Arkansas, USA small cabinet - 5.5 x 4.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright yellow crystals of Smithsonite replacing Dolomite, with the curving form of the former Dolomite crystals clearly evident. Smaller individual Smithsonite crystals are scattered across the surface of the matrix. The bright color is caused by inclusions of Greenockite. Beautiful specimen!
MM118 - Hematite with Quartz $ 2500 (=~ £ 1999) Big Bertha Mine (Veta Grande Mine), Dome Rock Mts, La Paz Co., Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Stunning Hematite and Quartz specimen from the classic Arizona locality, likely from the late 1970s. Mirror lustrous tabular crystals to 1.9cm. Comes with an old Larry Conklin label that shows a price of $550 likely from decades ago. There are some small damaged crystals, still this is by far the best I've owned or seen, though admittedly I have not seen many - they are uncommon, Mindat only shows 18 specimens.

The Dioptase clusters reach 7mm in diameter. There is an area along one edge of the specimen with more drusy Dioptase and small Cerussite crystals. This is an old specimen out of a collection. .

Individual crystals reach 5.5cm in size and are highly lustrous, many doubly-terminated. The specimen is displayable from both sides with great crystallization all around. Old labels indicate it was collected by Tim Elliot in 2002 and traded to Bill Pinch in 2003.

Purple Lepidolite and pink Tourmaline wrap around the base and sides. The back and part of the top are contacted. Tourmaline inclusions in Morganite are rare.

Choice, quality crystals with accenting small Quartz crystals. Such isolated crystals are uncommon with the vast majority of Butte Enargite specimens made up of interlocking, drusy crystals. Would make a superb addition to any Butte or USA collection.
