Rarely seen now in this size and quality, it's almost solid Mimetite with just a small amount of matrix on the backside. It's also in pristine condition with just the smallest amount of chipping limited to the very edges.

C692 - Tourmaline with Lepidolite (R) $ 3200 (=~ ¥ 474801) SOLD Cruzeiro Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 9 x 1 x 1 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Long single, gemmy Tourmaline crystal with a cranberry pink color with a thin red zone at the termination. There is one professional repair about 2/3 up the crystal that is very hard to notice because it's in a zone that has more internal veils. No damage and with good luster, the color is fantastic. Comes with a custom Lucite base.
C693 - Liddicoatite $ 2300 (=~ ¥ 341263) Betafo District, Antananarivo Province, Madagascar miniature - 4.5 x 2.6 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick single Liddicoatite crystal with lots of color variation as you move up the crystal, ending in a transparent, colorless 'Achroite' termination. In excellent condition with perfect, glassy termination faces and just a small bit of edge wear on one edge near the base, otherwise complete all around and undamaged. Weighs 50.76 grams.
C694 - Dolomite with Hematite $ 950 (=~ ¥ 140957) Brumado Mine, Bahia, Brazil miniature - 4 x 3 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Water clear Dolomite crystal with included and attached silvery blades of Hematite. The Brumado mine is best known for Uvite and Magnesite but also produces other really interesting pieces such as pink Topaz, Emeralds, and superb Dolomite. The large Dolomite is twinned and tabular, with the smaller crytals at the base a mixture of both untwinned rhombs and tabular twins. Showy and lustrous, complete all around. The right side is smooth and lustrous but appears to be a cleavage face. Comes mounted on a Lucite stand. Unusual, aesthetic specimen!

There is a purple core with outer zones of various shades of blue. This is the color that is hard to find and that everyone wants. Nice and gemmy and nearly pristine with just a cleave at one corner.

The main Liddicoatite is 2cm tall. There are two other Liddicoatite crystals attached to the second Quartz crystal which crosses across the top of the first Quartz crystal. One of the two is double-terminated and lies across the surface of the Quartz, while the other is included within the Quartz with the termination extending out the Quartz.

There are four pink and green Tourmaline crystals in the cluster.
C701 - Alexandrite $ 3500 (=~ ¥ 519313) SOLD Carnaiba mining district, Pindobaçu, Bahia, Brazil thumbnail - 2.8 x 2.7 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Outstanding sixling crystal of Alexandrite, the rare variety of chrysoberyl that exibits a color change between natural and artificial light (Alexandrite effect). This specimen has six very well developed 'arms', each translucent and showing good color when backlit. This is easily the best Brazilian Alexandrite I've ever owned and is complete and good when viewed from either side.

Transparent with little to no internal cracks or veils. Undamaged with much better glassy luster than the photos indicate.

These are regarded as the world's best Clinoatacamite specimens, and this is a good one. The crystals are all pristine.
