J170 - Dolomite with Magnesite $ 800 (=~ AUS$ 1220) SOLD Brumado Mine, Bahia, Brazil miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large honey-colored Dolomite crystal with an attached white rhomb of Magnesite. Beautiful well balanced specimen without damage. The Dolomite is color-zoned with a more lighter colored, transparent central zone. The Brumado Dolomites are not common but are some of the world's best, a great attractive specimen for a species that's not always too exciting.
