Malosa, Zomba, Southern Region, Malawi cabinet - 11.0 x 4.7 x 2.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() A large, 11.0cm long, double-terminated, dark colored Aegirine crystal serves as host to a number of species including dozens of small yellow gemmy Zircon crystals, white Orthoclase crystals, large encrusted Siderite crystals, and a few clear Quartz points. Sold to me as Zircon replacing Siderite crystals, of which there are 3 distinct crystals to 2cm. An outstanding combination of species for the locality and in very good condition all-around.
