C592 - Veszelyite $ 200 SOLD Laochang Mine, Gejiu Co., Yunnan Province, China miniature - 3.6 x 3 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Sharp crystals of Veszelyite to 2mm lining vug in matrix. Veszelyite is a rare phosphate mineral only found in a few places worldwide as collectable mineral specimens. These specimens have only been found in the past few years and are one of the more interesting mineral surprises from China.
C593 - Apatite on Siderite $ 650 Panasquiera, Portugal miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy 1.8cm Apatite crystal attached to a Siderite crystal that is dusted with Pyrite. The Apatie has a blueish lavender color, with a darker blue stipe down the center, and is undamaged.
C595 - Azurite $ 300 SOLD Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico cabinet - 9.5 x 7.5 x 5.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, lustrous Azurite crystals that formed in a thick seam. It's not perfect, as the big crystals grew into both sides of the seam, but there are plenty or terminated crystals present and it's just darn impressive in size and volume of electric blue color.
C596 - Rhodochrosite after Clam $ 400 SOLD Kertch, Crimea, Ukraine small cabinet - 8.5 x 7 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Fossil bivalve that has been replaced with pink Rhodochrosite. The old iron mine where these were found is long closed and these are no longer being found.
