C288 - Lawsonite $ 2500 (=~ CAN$ 3431) SOLD Mendocino Co., California, USA cabinet - 11 x 8 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pinkish Lawsonite crystals on Glaucophane schist. I have had a number of these over the past few years, however none as good as this one. This was just released by the field collector, one of (if not the best) that he had held back. There are piles of crystals, with much more surficial relief than most. It's both good sized for the find AND by far the richest in terms of quantities of good crystals. And the crystals are big, reaching 1.4cm in width. Spectacular. Some saw cuts on back side.

The Fluorite is light green in color - the camaera did not pick up the color.
