Tanzanian Moonstone

New find of Feldspar var. Moonstone crystals from Tanzania. The specimens exhibit varying degrees of blue color generally on one face of the crystals. Moonstone gemstones are common, however Mooonstone crystals are not.

New find of crystallized moonstone from Tanzania. Individual crystals to 1.3cm that display a satiny blue color when turned under lighting. This 'Schiller effect' of color is seen at different angles on the different crystals and was therefore not possible to catch in still photos and these are therefore more colorful and attractive in person. Moonstone crystals are rare! There are good crystals covering 4 sides of the specimen.
