T840 - Chrome Dravite $ 950 (=~ AUS$ 1449) SOLD Mwajanga, near Komolo, Tanzania miniature - 4.2 x 1 x 0.8 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Amazingly rich chrome green Dravite that grades up to a cat's-eye termination. You may recall similar but brown crystals that were found at this mine in quantity over the past couple years. This crystal is new (late 2017) and the only one like it that was available - we can only cross our fingers that more will be found. Undamaged with an incredible color that is slightly more vivid than other Tanzanian green dravites.
T842 - Wurtzite $ 200 (=~ AUS$ 305) SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Well formed, tabular single Wurtzite crystal, complete all around. There is a chip on the backside but it's in overall good condition, and highly translucent.

Pink is an uncommon color and I buy any decent one I can find when they are available. This crystal is undamaged and grades up from a purplish pink body to a red/pink termination. A beautiful and uncommon Tanzanite.

Flawless gem Tsavorite crystals are hard to come by because the cutting value is so high they are almost always cut as gemstones. This specimen is complete all around and even crystallized on the bottom, though there are the linear grooves present where it grew over Graphite crystals. Weighs 4.5 carats and appears flawless.
