T520 - Shattuckite after Cuprite $ 3000 SOLD Tantara Mine, Katanga, Congo small cabinet - 8.5 x 5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rare psuedomorph of royal blue Shattuckite that has replaced a number of Cuprite crystals. This of one of the rarer Tantara psuedomorphs, and one of only a very few I've ever seen. There are four larger crystals to 9mm in size, plus numerous small crystals. There are likely more small crystals hidden under the Chrysocolla, which can be easily air abraded away if desired. There are small amounts of Dioptase and Malachite in association. A true rarity!

T529 - Spinel $ 2800 SOLD Mahenge, Tanzania small cabinet - 7.5 x 7.5 x 7.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Huge, nearly perfect pink Spinel from Mahenge. The best large crystal I've ever had, complete all around with 5 of the six corners coming to textbook points, while the sixth is somewhat stepped and intergrown with matrix. Nicely translucent on the edges, 5.5cm on edge. Mahenge pink spinels cut what are considered the finest pink spinel gemstones, and good crystals from this locality are uncommon because most cut or broken up for their cutting potential.
