B114 - Azurite $ 300 SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia thumbnail - 1.6 x 1.3 x 0.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Fine single Azurite crystal that is highly translucent. This specimen was from the collection of a German professor who emigrated to the U.S.and comes with an old Wilhelm Maucher label that dates the specimen back to at least 1936. A second 1.7 cm partial crystal (not pictured) is included also.
B119 - Proustite $ 100 SOLD Frieberg, Saxony, Germany thumbnail - 1.5 x 1.0 x 0.6 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Bright mass of crystalline Proustite that glows a bight cherry red when backlit. This specimen was from the collection of a German professor who emigrated to the U.S. and likely dates back to the 1800s.
B120 - Brochantite $ 130 SOLD Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Sonora, Mexico miniature - 4.5 x 4.0 x 2.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Thick, robust crystals of Brochantite on matrix - not the thin, hair-like crystals typical for the species. Crystals reach 1cm in length and have a deep forest green color.
B122 - Quartz $ 150 SOLD California Blue Mine, Riverside Co., California large cabinet - 17 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, well formed Smokey Quartz crystal. Double terminated and undamaged but for a few tiny nicks.
TZ508 - Dravite $ 950 SOLD Mwajanga, near Komolo, Tanzania thumbnail - 3.0 x 1.0 x 1.0 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well terminated single Dravite crystal from a small recent find that produced these incredibly colored crystals. The termination has an intensely colored red/pink coloration. I understand there were only about 30 crystals found and this one has the best quality in terms of color and crystal form, with many showing varying degrees of surface etching and pitting. This crystal has smooth crystal faces and flat, smooth termination faces with relatively minor amounts of etching.
