The crystals have sharp edges, great glassy luster, and a bit of attached green Epidote adding color contrast.
TZ435 - Dravite $ 160 SOLD Mwajanga, near Komolo, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.8 x 1.6 x 1.4 cm ![]() ![]() Transparent to translucent, rootbeer colored Dravite crystal with a very sharp change to white, cat's-eye Dravite. These part rootbeer/part cat's-eye crystals are much less common than normal crystals from the find, and crystals with such a sharp delineation between the two even more so. Weighs 12.2 grams.

This crystal also features a natural bend which sometimes occurs in Tourmaline crystals due to fracturing and rehealing in the pegmatite pocket. Weighs 7.6 grams.
