TZ406 - Alabandite with Tanzanite SOLD Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania small cabinet - 7.5 x 6 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, well formed single Alabandite crystal a full 7cm on edge. This is a very large crystal with good shape and large smooth faces. Attached to the side is a very interesting formation of light blue Tanzanite enclosed within a white Calcite rhomb.

This crystal is yellow at the termination a pale blue at the base. The yellow color is a different hue than previous Tanzanites I've ever seen.
