TS203 - Calcite included by Dioptase SOLD Tsumeb, Namibia large cabinet - 19 x 12 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, spectacular specimen of Calcite crystals colored green by inclusions of Dioptase, a Tsumeb classic. The specimen is a floater, crystallized on all sides, though the Dioptase inclusions are limited to the front side. The specimen is remarkably free of damage for such a large, old specimen. Individual crystals reach 2.5 cm in size.

Most Afghan purple Apatites I see are imperfect with bad luster or otherwise unsuitable as a fine specimen. This is the uncommon exception with good color, luster, and a nice display.
