SA589 - Hureaulite, Reddingite, Rockbridgeite $ 400 SOLD Jocao Mine, Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil small cabinet - 6.5 x 4.3 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Sharp, distinct Hureaulite crystals to 9mm long - very good sized for this mineral as most are smaller and drusy in style. This specimen has some of the largest, most distinct crystals I've seen.
SA590 - Sphene with Epidote $ 1200 SOLD Capelinha, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 4.5 x 3.8 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent green Sphene crystals on matrix with Epidote crystals. This specimen is outstanding for both the transparency of the crystals plus the upright arrangment of the crystals, it's also nearly a floater with good crystals on both sides.
SA591 - Amethyst cast $ 400 SOLD Artigas, Uruguay cabinet - 11.5 x 5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Amethyst crystals that formed over a Calcite crystal, the Calcite is now gone leaving this hollow cast.
SA592 - Euclase on Quartz $ 600 SOLD Alto Equador, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil small cabinet - 8.5 x 6 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Almost always found as loose singles, these Euclase have a characteristic blue stripe running up the center. I bought this at the Tucson show in the 1990s and have not seen another like it. Two Euclase crystals 1.5cm long in a cluster of Quartz crystals. The Quartz have hair-like, golden inclusions of what is possibly Rutile.
SA593 - Rose Quartz $ 900 SOLD Pittorra Mine, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 5 x 3.2 x 3 cm ex. James Houran ex. Martin Zinn ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Glassy, lustrous Rose Quartz cluster on Feldspar. The crystal is glassy and transparent with a cup or flower shape. Hard to see inthe photos, but the central portion of the crystal drops inward almost all the way to the matrix forming and exquisite shape. Ex. Marty Zinn, James Houran collections. Comes with a custom Lucite base.
