Microcline $ 300 SOLD Erongo Mountains, Namibia small cabinet - 5.2 x 4.5 x 3.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Interesting pseudomorph of a prismatic Microcline crystal that have been replaced by Quartz and Schorl. These were from a small find that appeared at the Munich show this year. The Quartz is fantastic and occurs as hundreds of small crystals that form a criss-crossing laticework on the faces of the former Microcline. There is a 4cm fan-shaped cluster of Schorl attached to the backside. Complete and undamaged.

The tips of the crystals show translucency. Though priced much lower, these Anatase are every bit as good in quality as their Norwegian counterparts, and are currently plentiful but may not be so in the near future.
