A205 - Pyromorphite $ 250 SOLD Daoping Mine, Guangxi Prov., China cabinet - 10 x 9 x 5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Floater specimen loaded with long, olive green Pyromorphite. OK, the olive green color may not be as nice as the lime green from this locality, but it is an interesting piece for the shear volume of crystals, and they are unusually elongated too.
A204 - Indicolite with Lepidolite $ 100 SOLD Kunar Prov., Afghanistan thumbnail - 2.5 x 1.5 x 1.1 cm ![]() ![]() Gem blue Tourmaline with a 1.3cm Lepidolite crystal. The main crystal is terminated however the shorter is broken off. This is GEM material of good blue color, only priced this cheap because of the missing termination on the small crystal.
A203 - Tourmaline with Quartz $ 280 SOLD Stak Nala, Pakistan small cabinet - 7.5 x 6.5 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() A 7cm double terminated green Tourmaline crystal grown through two double terminated Quartz crystals. The Tourmaline is dark green with light green ends. The termination at one end gets divided up in some Albite, but all the small tips are terminated.
A202 - Lepidolite on Tourmaline $ 300 SOLD Nuristan, Afghanistan small cabinet - 6.5 x 2.5 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Translucent, medium green Tourmaline with a pink cap blanketed in Lepidolite Glassy with a good termination and undamaged. Although you can't see it in the photos, the green is very nice with a little backlighting.
A201 - Tourmaline with Albite $ 300 SOLD Stak Nala, Pakistan miniature - 4.5 x 3.5 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Four double terminated Tourmaline crystals intergrown with thin plates of Albite. The Tourmalines are green with pink tips. Interestingly, although the 3 top crystals are off-set at different angles, the color zone planes are the same. Fine and undamaged.
A199 - Apatite on Albite SOLD Nuristan, Afghanistan miniature - 4.4 x 4.4 x 3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large purple Apatite crystals on both sides of a small plate of crystallized Albite. The Apatite crystals reach 1.5 cm in width and have a slightly curved habit, reminiscent of Pyromorphite. Can be displayed from two sides.
A198 - Aquamarine on Albite $ 4500 SOLD Shigar Valley, Pakistan cabinet - 10 x 6.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Large, glassy Aqua set on a small amount of Albite matrix with another 3.9cm Aqua jutting out at the base. Parts of the main Aqua are double terminated at the base. One tiny ding along one edge of termination, otherwise perfect. Stunning display specimen.
