Mineral specimens from the Art and Connie Reno collection. Art and Connie Reno were local San Francisco Bay area mineral collectors, both specalizing in quartz. Art had a fondness for Wulfenite and Pyrite; Connie for the feldspars. Both also liked vugs and pseudomorphs. They were members of several rock clubs; Bay Area Minerologists, Crystal Gazers, San Mateo Gem and mineral, and Sequoia Gem and Mineral. They both field collected and bought minerals at shows. Art was an engineer for the City of San Francisco and Connie was a registered nurse. They collected minerals of all types and sizes. They attended many local mineral shows, often exhibiting, and went to the Quartzite and Tucson shows, mainly in the 1970s through 1990's. 2023-12-05 22:52:51 (PST): Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /mnt/vol-01b7ce02a4fa81bb8/data/mm/www.marinmineral.com/navbar.php:403): /mnt/vol-01b7ce02a4fa81bb8/data/mm/www.marinmineral.com/s_present.php: line 39
