SA409 - Sphene $ 300
Capalinha, Minas Gerais, Brazil

SA451 - Tourmaline, Lepidolite, Quartz $ 360
Mina da Ponte, Aracuai, Mnas Gerais, Brazil
miniature - 4 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm
ex.  Mike Keim

Clear Quartz crystal partially enclosing what was once a green Tourmaline crystal. The Tourmaline within the Quartz remains complete, however where it exits the Quartz (on top and along the backside), it has altered to a rectangular stack of Lepidolite crystals. Two small dings on the Quartz. Really neat and interesting specimen, 4 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm.

SA352 - Herderite on Muscovite after Feldspar $ 350 SOLD
Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerais, Brazil
small cabinet - 8 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm

Numerous purple Herderite crystals to over 1cm on Muscovite that has partially replaced a large Feldspar crystal. The larger crystals are obvious but there are also many (50?) smaller crystals all among the mica. The Feldspar is still present at the core and visible on the bottom with the outer layer replaced to mica. From a friend's personal collection who purchased it in Brazil in the 1970s, size 8 x 5.5 x 4.5 cm.

Dramatic specimen with a mound of red Uvite crystals (red is the most desired color of this tourmaline species) with a 5.5cm double terminated Quartz set centrally in the front.
