J971 - Hutchinsonite with Pyrite $ 1250 Quiruvilca, La Libertad Dept., Peru cabinet - 12 x 8 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Pyrite and red crystals of Hutchinsonite on matrix. Hutchinsonite is a rare thallium sulfosalt species and these recently found red crystals are some of the best ever found. Crystals reach 8mm long and contrast nicely with the Pyrite. Undamaged with an even distribution of both species across the front face. About as nice a Hutchinsonite specimen as you could expect and the best one I've ever had.

Crystals shoot out from matrix in various directions with individual crystals reaching 3.5 cm long. No damage.

K113 - Beryl (R) Strelley Station, Western Australia, Australia cabinet - 13 x 3 x 2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Crystal of translucent green Beryl from the Strelley pegmatite, located approximatley 64 kilometres south-east of Port Hedland in Western Australia. The locality was originally mined for Cassiterite and Tantalite, however green Beryl was also recovered. This is a good size crystal from the John Saul collection. It is complete all around with good form and has been repaired in a few loactions.

K151 - Amethyst $ 650 Toll Mountain, Jefferson Co. Montana, USA small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is a fantastic double-terminated Amethyst with smokey zones perched on a cluster of smaller Quartz crystals. The large DT crystal is 6cm and perfect without a single tiny nick. In fact the whole specimen is an undamaged floater crystallized all around. Comes with an on old Roberts Minerals label, which in my experience has always meant quality.
K131 - Quartz over Dioptase $ 350 Mindouli District, Brazzaville, Congo small cabinet - 7 x 6 x 4.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Specimen of chunky Dioptase crystals partially coated by Quartz crystals. The specimen is almost solid Dioptase with some Plancheite or Shattuckite. This is an old specimen from the 1980s or 1990s.

K137 - Copper $ 350 Laker Pocket, Eagle Harbor, Keweenaw Co., Michigan, USA small cabinet - 6 x 5.5 x 2.5 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well crystallized Copper specimen with branches that come together at the top in a mass of very sharp octahedrons of Copper crystals with individuals crystals 7mm wide. Found in 2008 by Bob Barron while metal detecting the lake floor of Lake Superior in about 15 feet of water off Eagle Harbor.
