Cubic Silver crystals are uncommon and these are superbly formed, sharp cubes of about 3mm in size. The calcite has been mostly etched away leaving the cubic Silver crystals and hackly Silver along with small Quartz crystals on the matrix. There is one good sized crystal 3mm in size.

Cubic Silver crystals are uncommon and these are superbly formed, sharp cubes to about 2mm in size. The crystals are present on a Safflorite matrix around some remaining etched Calcite.
ST356 - Silver (cubic crystals!) Bouismas Mine, Zagora Prov., Draa-Tafilalet Region, Morocco thumbnail - 2.5 x 2 x 1 cm Cubic Silver crystals on matrix that have been exposed from white Calcite. Cubic Silver crystals are uncommon and these are superbly formed, sharp cubes to about 2mm in size. The crystals are present on a Safflorite matrix around some remaining etched Calcite.

ST285 - Kolwezite on Cobaltian Calcite $ 300 (=~ ¥ 44513) Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo cabinet - 10.5 x 10 x 2 cm Dark olive green botryoidal Kolwezite atop vivid pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) creating a stunning mixture of colors and forms. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful large display piece and combination specimen of two desireable species together. Sawcut on back and one edge.
ST269 - Kolwezite/Malachite Pseudomorphs $ 250 (=~ ¥ 37094) Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo small cabinet - 9 x 6 x 4.5 cm Dark green crystals of Kolwezite and/or Malachite that has pseudomorphed after Barite (?) on Cobaltian Calcite. The pseudomorphs form a cluster about 4cm wide in a vug. The Cobaltian Calcite is brown with an later generation of vivid pink. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. private_notes
ST238 - Kolwezite after Cuprite on Cobaltian Calcite $ 900 (=~ ¥ 133538) Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo cabinet - 14.5 x 9 x 3 cm Dark olive green Kolwezite pseudomorphs after Cuprite atop rhombs of pink Cobaltoan Calcite (or possibly Cobaltoan Dolomite) creating a stunning mixture of colors and forms. There are a few clusters of an earlier generation of botryoidal Kolwezite but the majority are angular crystals of the pseudomorphs. Kolwezite is a Copper Cobalt Carbonate Hydroxide and this is the type locality for the species. A beautiful large display piece and combination specimen of two desireable species together.
ST265 - Cuprite on Malachite with Chrysocolla $ 450 (=~ ¥ 66769) Kolwezi Mining District, Lualaba, DR Congo cabinet - 11 x 7.5 x 5 cm Large fan-shaped cluster of velvety green Malachite atop a matrix of fibrous Malachite intergrown with blue Chrysocolla. ST172 - Datolite $ 150 (=~ ¥ 22256) Russian River, north of Cloverdale, Mendocino Co., California, USA small cabinet - 7 x 4 x 4 cm Glassy white Datolite crystals on matrix. Found by a friend while prospecting in this area known for Jadeite and Rosenhahnite crystals. These were found in a single boulder that was excavated during construction work on Highway 101. This boulder produced what are considered Californias's best Datolite. Individual crystals on this specimen reach 7mm in size and are translucent to transparent. Superb piece for a California suite of minerals.
