This is a complete crystal all around with no points of contact. Rich bright citrus orange coloration throughout with several gem-like areas. A very clean example for the species. Weighs 254 carats.

This is a complete crystal all around with only a few small natural surface pits and no black inclusions. Rich bright citrus orange coloration throughout. Weighs 296 carats.
C661 - Tourmaline $ 3500 Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande, San Diego Co., California, USA small cabinet - 5.5 x 2.2 x 2.2 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() Large single Tourmaline crystal that grades from pink to green then back to pink at the termination. Strong color with a steep pyramidal termination. A little more pink than the photos, and the green zone is a better green, and though somewhat dark in the photos, is very gemmy. Undamaged. Weighs 67.2 grams.

C665 - Shattuckite $ 350 L'Etoile, Lumbumbashi, Katanga, Congo (DRC) small cabinet - 6 x 5.5 x 4 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Solid mass of Shattuckite and Malachite with a thin coating of Chrysocolla on the outside. The Shattuckite forms satiny, fibrous radial groups with Malachite filling the spaces in between.

These are no longer being found or at least very seldomly found anymore. A great example with good form and color. A large crystal of red mica is grown into part of the backside faces. Undamaged.
C671 - Aquamarine $ 850 Thanh Hoa Province, Vietnam miniature - 3.7 x 1.2 x 0.7 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Transparent Aquamarine crystal with the good blue color Vietnamese Aqua are known for. An undamaged crystal that is fully transparent top to bottom.
C673 - Azurite $ 850 Tsumeb, Namibia miniature - 4.5 x 2.5 x 1.3 cm ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Cluster of stout, intergrown Azurite crystals. Complete all around and undamaged except for a couple of tiny, trivial nicks and a small partial crystal attached to one side. Good blue color overall with areas of bright 'electric' blue. There is an old collection number affixed to the bottom.

Good medium purple colored Amethyst crystals that grew upon the tips of smaller white Quartz crystals, so it is crystallized on all sides with just a few of the tips of the small white crystals embedded inthe bottom. Fine and undamaged.

These are found on the surface, having weathered out of the surrounding rock formations. There are about 40 different species found at this deposit. Although they could have weathered out of different formations, they are all believed to be Eocene in age. Most are broken pieces and weathered and perfectly preserved examples such as this are uncommon, probably less than 5 percent of what is found. Fine quality example of a lesser seen species.
