LL158 - Apatite with Mica $ 500 (=~ CAN$ 686) Medina, Minas Gerais, Brazil miniature - 4 x 2.5 x 2 cm GEM golden Apatite crystals from Medina. These are famous for their clarity and indeed this specimen looks like a cluster of faceted gemstones with water-clear intergrown perfect crystals. Even the small book of mica is transparent! It's complete all around with the point of contact on the right side as photographed, the thicker left side is terminated with a multitude of tiny crystal faces.
LL192 - 'Endlichite' after Wulfenite $ 350 (=~ CAN$ 480) Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico small cabinet - 7.5 x 6.5 x 2 cm Orange Wufenite crystals coated are partially replaced by arsenian Vanadinite (known as Endlichite). Wulfenite crystals without coatings show etching. Crystals to 2cm in size, undamaged. Comes with an old Roberts Minerals label.
LL189 - Wulfenite $ 220 (=~ CAN$ 302) Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico small cabinet - 5.7 x 3 x 2.5 cm Spiky Wulfenite crystals on matrix. The Wulfenite occur as elongated, pyramidal orange crystals to 1cm sticking straight up off the matrix.
LL108 - Wulfenite $ 1200 (=~ CAN$ 1647) Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico thumbnail - 3 x 2.2 x 2 cm Gemmy orange Wulfenite crystals on matrix with white Hydrozincite. There ae two crystals and both are complete and undamaged, well crystallized all around. Main crystal has areas of transparency. Great color!
LL160 - Wulfenite $ 900 (=~ CAN$ 1235) Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm Gemmy orange Wulfenite crystal, 2.5cm wide, on matrix. The crystal is complete and undamaged, well crytallized all around with areas of transparency.
LL163 - Wulfenite $ 750 (=~ CAN$ 1029) Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico small cabinet - 5.3 x 5 x 3.5 cm White Calcite coated with a dusting of greenish brown Descloizite hosting a cluster of orange Wulfenite crystals. Individual crystals reach 2.5cm on the diagonal. The crystals are chunky (1.5cm thick!) and undamaged and display equally well from either side.
LL134 - Cuprite $ 750 (=~ CAN$ 1029) Ray Mine, Dripping Spring Mountains, Pinal Co. Arizona, USA small cabinet - 8 x 5 x 3 cm Well crystallized specimen of individual, large Cuprite crystals (coatings n Copper and Chalcotrichite are more common from the mine). Sharp, well formed crystals to 5mm richly cover specimen. Undamaged, historic, fine quality specimen. Comes with a Dick Morris, Mark Hay label.
LL125 - Hematite with Quartz Big Bertha Mine (Veta Grande Mine), Dome Rock Mountains, La Paz County, Arizona, USA small cabinet - 6 x 3.5 x 2.5 cm Large, tabular single Hematite crystals with attached small clear Quartz crystals. Though not complete, it's very large for the find. The Hematite is 1.5cm thick and has bright metallic luster. An Arizona classic.
