Fantastic single Chrome Tourmaline from a recent find. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich varietal of the species Dravite. This crystal is one of a small handfull that have 3 color zones. A bright, vivid green at the termination, a darker green at the center, and grading towards a yellow green at the base. Weighs 73 grams.

Fantastic partial Chrome Tourmaline crystal from a recent find. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich varietal of the species Dravite. This crystal has intense green coloration. It's not a complete crystal but the color is excellent. Weighs 22 grams.

Large partial Chrome Tourmaline crystal from a recent find. 'Chrome Tourmaline' is a vanandium and chromium rich varietal of the species Dravite. This crystal is one of a small handfull that have 3 color zones. A bright, vivid green at the termination, a darker green at the center, and grading towards a yellow green at the base. Weighs 110 grams.

Large specimen of rare Grandidierite, in fact the largest single piece I've ever seen, with some attached Feldspar. Grandidierite is a rare magnesium aluminum borosilicate first discovered in 1902 in the Anosy Region of Madagascar. Crystals are very rare and ususally the best you can hope for are some crystal faces, and this specimen has crystal faces on part of one side. Grandidierite often appears on lists of the 10 rarest gems in the world.

Yellow cubic Fluorite crystals with small attached Chalcopyrite crystals. The Fluorite is color zoned with a thin outler layer of light blue. In excellent conditon with all the edges and corners perfect.

Well formed floater cluster of Bastnasite crystals. The main crystal is good sized with uniform thickness and sharp, crisp edges. The color is a translucent rootbeer brown with an outer zone of yellow.

Well formed Bastnasite crystal, translucent rootbeer brown in color. Complete and undamaged.

Bright, glassy blue Azurite on Malachite. This came out of an old collection and there are some damaged crystals present, and it has been priced down accordingly. An american classic with lots of visual pop.

Pink Rhodochrosite on Quartz. The old label dates this specimen back to at least 1982.

Dense coverage of Neptunite crystals contrasting against the white Natrolite surface. Most crystals are perfect with contacted or damaged crystals limited to the very edges. A good specimen.

Variscite nodule cut in half and polished. This is an old piece I purchased as a kid at a rock shop in Utah back in the 1970s. Both halves are included.
