T940 - Sphene with Tsavorite, Pyrite $ 1200 (=~ ¥ 178050) Merelani Hills, Arusha, Tanzania thumbnail - 2.5 x 2.5 x 1.7 cm Unique specimen of a heart-shaped Sphene with attached Tsavorite and Pyrite. Complete all around and undamaged. Incredible, unusual thumbnail.
C146 - Leifite on Serandite $ 650 (=~ ¥ 96444) Mont St. Hilaire, Quebec, Canada small cabinet - 6 x 4 x 3.5 cm Rare radial group of Leifite crystals on salmon pink Serandite crystals. With black Aegerine crystals.
C147 - Copper $ 300 (=~ ¥ 44513) Champion Mine, Keewenaw Peninsula, Michigan, USA miniature - 5 x 3.5 x 1.5 cm Well crystallized group of Copper crystals. Undamaged floater group good on all sides. With minor amounts of associated Calcite.
C152 - Axinite $ 900 (=~ ¥ 133538) Bourg d’Oisans, Isere, France cabinet - 10 x 6 x 6 cm Gemmy blades of purple Axinite associated with Albite crystals on matrix from the classic European locality once considered the source of the finest Axinites in the world (now surpassed by some specimens from the Urals and California) though still highly treasured. Some fo the crystals are pure purple and gemmy, some show green Chlorite, there is also chlorite coating parts fo the matrix. Crystals reach 2cm in size and are in great condition except for the far right edge where it appears the specimen broke away from the host rock.
C153 - Scheelite $ 1000 (=~ ¥ 148375) Traversella Mine, Chiusella Valley, Torino Province, Piedmont, Italy small cabinet - 7 x 4.5 x 4 cm Rare specimen of Italian Scheelite on matrix. An old specimen from a classic locality not commonly seen for sale. The crystal measures 2cm and is a good yellow with gemmy zones. There are at least 3 other small Scheelite present on the Pyrite rich matrix.
C164 - Axinite Puiva, Polar Urals, Russia miniature - 4.7 x 4 x 3.5 cm Transparent purple blades of Axinite on matrix.
C166 - Kermesite $ 350 (=~ ¥ 51931) Dafeng, Shanglin Co., Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China miniature - 4.7 x 0.9 x 0.5 cm Diverging spray of Kermesite crystals with a bright metallic luster.
C177 - Feldspar var. Moonstone Namalulu, Tanzania small cabinet - 7.5 x 5 x 3.5 cm New find of crystallized moonstone from Tanzania. This is essentially one large individual crystals of 5.5cm with a satiny blue color on the front face. Uncommonly large crystal. Moonstone crystals are rare!
C191 - Chrome Cerussite $ 350 (=~ ¥ 51931) Magnet Mine, Dundas, Tasmania, Australia small cabinet - 6.5 x 5 x 3 cm Bright yellow Cerussite 'snowflakes' on a limonite matrix. Rare old material from the Magnet Mine. Comes with Andy Seibel and Schneiders labels.
C192 - Wulfenite $ 400 (=~ ¥ 59350) Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico small cabinet - 7.5 x 6 x 4 cm Aesthetic specimen of Wulfenite crystals on a vuggy Limonite matrix. This piece is special because it has both typical translucent Butterscotch colored crystals, and smaller gem crystals.
C198 - Pyromorphite $ 280 (=~ ¥ 41545) Daoping Mine, Guangxi, China miniature - 4.5 x 4 x 2.5 cm Bright lime green crystals of Pyromorphite. The specimen is nearly solid Pyromorphite with just a very small amount of limonite. Showy with top lime green color. Comes with old Steve Perry label.
C201 - Elbaite $ 450 (=~ ¥ 66769) Virgem da Lapa, Minas Gerias, Brazil small cabinet - 5.5 x 0.7 x 0.6 cm Purple and pink Tourmaline crystal out of an old collection. This is classic old Virgem da Lapa material, probably from the 1960s. Gemmy from tip to bottom with a purple body color and bright pink termination. Undamaged and weighs 4.4 grams.
C205 - Legrandite $ 2200 (=~ ¥ 326426) Mina Oujela, Mapimi, Durango, Mexico miniature - 3.3 x 1 x 0.6 cm Floater, double-terminated Legrandite crystal from the recent (2017) find. Thick and translucent with great color. There were not many single crystals found (I only saw one other). .
C212 - Brazilianite $ 450 (=~ ¥ 66769) Corrego Frio, Minas Gerais, Brazil thumbnail - 2.7 x 2 x 1.6 cm Single crystal from the old, best find for the species.
C213 - Sphene $ 450 (=~ ¥ 66769) Mondo Mine, Tanzania small cabinet - 6 x 4.5 x 1.7 cm A large, well formed single Sphene crystal from teh relatively new Mondo Mine. The locality is primarily mined for Quartz, but occassionally a good Sphene is found. This is as large and sharp and Sphene as I have seen from this locality so far. Good on front and back with gem zones.
